Add to oven, air fryer or microwave

While I like the outdoors At home or while camping, sometimes the mosquitoes are too aggressive or it’s too cold outside. And that’s when you need to know how to make drinks at home.

You can cook the dish in the oven, in the air fryer, or in the microwave. It’s easy and safe, although each method has its own pros and cons – similar to Bake potatoes in the oven, air fryer or microwave.

S’mores = Graham Crackers + Baked Marshmallows + Chocolate

While I am always attached to store-bought graham crackers when I’m making cookies, you can use any cookies you think will make a delicious cookie.

Here are some homemade cookie recipes you might want to try:

I also often use store-bought marshmallows but you can also take the opportunity to learn how to make homemade marshmallows.

Once you know the basic recipe, there are lots of ways to customize them like mint marshmallows, espresso marshmallowsand Lemon and rosemary marshmallows.

Store-bought marshmallows are great too!

  • Jumbo Size – these work best in an oven or air fryer.
  • Classic size – these work fine for all methods.
  • Small size – can work for any method, although a bit difficult to keep in place.
  • Stuffed – they come with some kind of center, like milk chocolate. They work well in the oven or air fryer.

You can use any type Chocolate bar or chocolate candy (like peanut butter cup) for the center of s’mores in the house.

S’mores in the Oven:

On a baking tray, add as many graham crackers as you like (you can make as many or as few cookies as you like). Then, layer chocolate and marshmallows on top.

Stew for 1-2 minutes. This will grow fast! So keep a close eye on it.

When the top of the marshmallows is cooked, remove from the oven and add a graham cracker on top.

* Do not use parchment under the chicken coop.

S’mores in an Air Fryer:

Add a small portion of wax paper (optional). Then add one to two graham crackers or as much as you have room in dryer basket. Then add marshmallow.

Air fry at 390°F for 3-4 minutes. When the marshmallow looks toasted, turn off the air fryer. Add the chocolate on top of the toasted marshmallows and place the basket back in the air fryer (off) for over 10 seconds to let the chocolate melt a bit.

Add the last graham crackers on top.

S’mores in the Microwave:

On a microwave-safe plate, add as many graham crackers as you like. Then top with chocolate and marshmallows.

Microwave for 10-15 seconds. The marshmallows will swell, but won’t necessarily turn golden brown or toast like other methods.

Add graham crackers on top and enjoy.

*Do not use Stuffed Puff marshmallows, as I find the centers tend to melt or burn in the microwave method. Regular, unstuffed marshmallows are best.

My favorite methods are ovens and air fryers, as the marshmallows are baked outside (as if cooked over a fire). However, if you want something super fast, then the microwave is the way to go.
