A small plane flies near Biden’s beach house in Delaware: NPR

President Biden and first lady Jill Biden were evacuated from their beach home in Rehoboth Beach, Del., after a small plane entered restricted airspace nearby.
According to the White House, they have since returned safely with no apparent real threat.
A White House official told the traveling press group: “A small private jet entered restricted airspace, all indications were by mistake and precautions were taken. No. there is no threat to the President or his family.”
Anthony Guglielmi, director of communications for the US Secret Service, also said the plane entered restricted airspace over Rehoboth by mistake.
“The aircraft was immediately escorted out of restricted airspace,” he said in a statement. “Preliminary investigation revealed that the pilot was not on the appropriate radio channel, was not following up on the NOTAMS (Notice to Airline Officers) that was filed, and was not following published flight instructions. Secret Service. The US will interview the pilot.”
