A mild weekend, one last warm period, and the microclimate of the Northwest
My podcast today begins with a very pleasant weekend forecast, with temperatures in the west in the 70s; The 80s on the Columbia River Basin. But another warm period is ahead, with highs climbing in the mid-80s by midweek.
The latest forecast for Seattle could show the last temperature period above the 80s for the rest of the year.
The second half of the podcast is about microclimates – with large temperature changes over short distances. I provide some impressive examples from last week and tell you a little bit about how they came about.
