Have you ever felt uncomfortable watching the aggressive, intolerant stance of “man-made climate disaster” advocates against all critics?

Much of our elite blames CO2 emitted by humanity to be responsible for the “superheating” of our atmosphere. “Science” led by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) calls us to give up fossil fuels and return to the frugal lifestyle of our 18s.order or 19order century.

You may find yourself not alone with that insecurity, which is growing rapidly as the social media giants start censoring those who dare to question the “science is stable” attitude. of the IPCC.

First of all, when evaluating topics related to climate change, don’t feel self-conscious if you’re not a rocket scientist or an atmospheric physicist with a Ph. Even such high-level scientists are just ordinary people who get paid to do a job. Like most citizens, they will do their best to fulfill the expectations of their superiors. And they will avoid putting their careers at risk by criticizing institutions that pay them well. Quite naturally, they will understate and overstate the importance of their work and the contribution of their organizations in solving pressing humanity’s problems.

Don’t try to beat them by arguing about the area in which they have superior knowledge. The 4000-page IPCC reports and elaborate but often questionable computer simulations are intended to impress the public and obfuscate the basic facts of the articles presented.

It’s amazingly easy to prove the climate experts wrong

For the average person, the best advice is to focus on the platform instead. Why? Because even a layman can prove a civil engineer wrong if his building is not upright. In the case of the topic of climate change, look at known historical facts or dare to do some overall assessment of what is presented. You would be surprised how often it is proved that some sublime scientific findings are completely false because their underlying assumptions are incomplete.

Such weak foundations will invalidate the entire superstructure no matter how impressive it looks and how much effort has been invested in it. Rely on your common sense and keep in mind the biblical parable of the giant on clay feet.

Our Earth’s History Tells Us “Bad Truths”

One of the most common tricks used when we are presented with climate projections is that people suggest they are simply erasing events in parts of earth’s history that don’t match up. their statement. Our planet began as a white ball of molten lava 4.5 billion years ago. Over a period of just a few hundred million years, it cooled from a few thousand°C to less than 100°C, a prerequisite for the first oceans to appear. And since that event, at least about 3.8 billion years ago, the cooling process of the earth has mostly stopped. So far, temperatures have been in a narrow range of 0°C to 60-80°C. The evidence for this is undeniable. Life has been present on our planet since at least 3.45 million years first), with geneticists even pushing this limit over 4 billion years ago. Furthermore, these genetic profiles suggest that since there is no discontinuity in this legacy sequence, temperature levels may never stray too far from this temperature window.

As a result, planet earth has an amazing thermostat that works when the oceans appear and has kept the temperature within an amazingly narrow range ever since. It performs well during incredible disasters such as giant asteroid impacts, chemical changes in the atmosphere and oceans, seismic disasters, massive volcanic eruptions, and high levels of solar radiation. the sky rose steadily.

To get an idea of ​​what the earth must have been through, just look at the scars on the moon’s surface on a clear night. We’ve at least received similar bombardments, but oceans, tectonic movements, and erosion have shaded most of the tracks.

No engineer could have envisioned and installed a planetary thermostat with a fail-safe design and the ability to re-adjust after devastating challenges and changing operating conditions over a period of time. such a long time. Until computers have given some smart people the ability to program climate simulations that dictate that we are only a few years away from reaching the final tipping point that will destroy humanity, if not more. all life on earth.

Why do climatologists use terms like “never seen” or “never seen before”?

The earth’s climate history is extremely turbulent and amazingly stable holds many examples of conditions and extremes unknown to most contemporaries, with the exception of a few classical experts.

Worse still, the scientific basis of modern meteorology is very recent and spans only about 150 years. And the worldwide network of weather stations has many blind spots and empty areas sometimes as far as 20order century.

Real global monitoring could only begin when weather satellites began orbiting the globe in the early 1960s. Thus, the scientific basis for long-term analyzes of weather and climate is quite short. For events going back further in time, we have to rely on patchy historical records and proxies like tree rings, dripping rocks or trapped air bubbles in glaciers.

Ignoring these shortcomings, many climatologists tend to stretch their hypotheses as far as possible by using terms such as “unprecedented”, “record high temperatures”. ” or “worst event ever”. Whenever you stumble across such claims, you should be extra careful and make sure that your wallet is well secured. Saving the climate is the most expensive endeavor humanity has ever attempted. The climatologist’s accounts simply dismiss key parts of our earth’s history when CO2 levels and atmospheric temperatures differed dramatically.

Fortunately, there are paleontological findings that allow us to have a reasonably realistic concept of the rise and fall of CO2 levels and temperatures over the past 590 million years. We therefore know that over a very long period of time CO2 levels exceeded the 1,000 ppm mark, in fact reaching levels between 6,000 and 8,000 ppm in the early Cambrian, Figures 3, 4.

Today the earth is on the cold side

Figure 5 combines both images with CO2 levels and temperature aligned on the same time axis. It can be clearly seen that there is a significant difference between CO2 pressure and temperature. Global temperatures have fluctuated between more than 25°C and 10°C. Our current climate is one of the coldest our planet has experienced in its last shift. 600 million years.

These findings contradict current warnings about catastrophic global warming attributed to current “excessive” CO2 levels of around 420 ppm.

Life on earth thrived with more than 6,000-8,000 ppm CO2 as well as dropping to current levels of several hundred ppm and with temperatures mostly exceeding the highs while occasionally falling below the current normal of the Earth. we are 15°C.

Of course, these facts do not please everyone in the well-funded and closely-knit community of climatologists. For example, a related chapter in the German version of Wikipedia warns that “comparing and drawing conclusions with the present is problematic because of historical conditions (e.g. reduced solar irradiance and no vegetation on land) completely prohibits applicability to the current Holocene. ”

This is a weak argument, which simply attempts to obfuscate that completely irrespective of advanced atmospheric models to explain the evolution of climate during these times, the following facts are still Undisputed:

  1. A) temperatures on earth have exceeded current levels by up to 20 °C for longer than zero, and
  2. B) CO2 levels have reached 6,000-8,000 ppm.

Why would 17°C be catastrophic?

So why should we believe that the temperature increase is only 1.5 to 2°C above current levels. Would 15°C be catastrophic for life on earth?

And these facts directly allude to two other key points against current climate narratives. We are constantly bombarded with alarming news about coral reefs said to have died from high temperatures and “oceans acidified by CO2. Both claims are invalidated by the fact that over hundreds of millions of years of much more adverse conditions, corals have been so successful that they even define their own geological epoch: the Jurassic. The name is derived from a mountain chain in Switzerland that consists entirely of massive calcium carbonate rock formations built from the shells of dead coral and other shellfish.

Comparable giant limestone formations can be found on all continents, and we will see later that they play an important role in a specific biochemical mechanism that helps to filter complete a large amount of CO.2 from our atmosphere and oceans. This CO2 has been isolated from the biological cycle by attaching it to rocks, where it will remain almost eternally. That didn’t happen, today we would have atmospheric conditions comparable to those on the planet Venus, with a pressure of 90 bar while temperatures go up to 470°C.

Corals did well at much higher temperatures, CO2 level

Contemporary corals are direct descendants of organisms that support water temperatures and CO2 levels much higher than what they currently experience in our tropical oceans. Likewise, articles suggest that atmospheric CO2 Levels of more than 400 ppm cause life-threatening “acidification” of our oceans that should be read with disdain. The same applies to claims that claim corals will not tolerate very hot and/or acidifying seawater.
