Can you imagine meeting a giant dog that doesn’t know how huge they are and thinks they’re a small dog? Well, that’s exactly how Kernel the Great Dane lived her life.
This tall, sweet boy is pure love, and his adorable pouty face is melting the hearts of millions of hearts online. It’s easy to see why; This beautiful boy and girl really enjoy watching.
This 6-year-old lives with his mother in Boston, and his favorite part of his morning routine is receiving lots of hugs and kisses from her. But if she skips the AM session because they’re in a hurry to go back or forth late, Kernel is sure to remind her that he missed out on his special kisses.

The photos and videos of his puffy face and hidden laments are spreading smiles and getting tons of love. like online. It’s hard to take your eyes off a larger-than-life dog that is so goofy, playful, and cuddly.
He may be deaf, but that doesn’t stop him from living his best life. After Kernel was diagnosed with end-stage ear disease in October 2021, he had to have his double ear removed, a procedure that removes the ear canal. But he still embraces his love by being a service dog who sometimes performs deep pressure therapy.
When she’s not loved and cuddled by her mother, Kernel enjoys walking down the sidewalk, hiking, and picking up new toys from the pet store. Kernel’s mother always bathes him with love. He was her whole world, but recently she almost lost him.
Good luck surviving
Not only Kernel’s mother feels extremely lucky to have this handsome youkai in her life, but Kernel is also extremely lucky to be alive. He had a 7-inch-long tumor on his spleen that ruptured along with the spleen.
This resulted in him bleeding 4 pounds of blood, and his survivability was not in his favor. Thanks to luck, love and talented doctors who performed emergency surgery, this sweet boy survived. He is a beautiful, neat miracle dog!
