A Complete Timeline of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s Legal Battles

January 2019: Depp’s attorney told E! May 2019: Depp filed a lengthy statement supporting his ex-lover defamation lawsuit. In court documents obtained by E! News, Depp claims Heard “draws on bruises.” He also accused her of causing “serious bodily harm”. Heard’s attorney denied any charges against Heard, stating, “The evidence in this case is clear: Johnny Depp repeatedly beat Amber Heard.”

July 2019: Depp’s team reveals their plan to subpoena James Franco through surveillance footage of Pineapple Express the star entered the elevator with Heard after she allegedly got into a fight with Depp. Heard’s attorney told E! News of Franco and Heard’s video is “irrelevant.”
