Microsoft Microsoft is refreshing some of its Surface models with a greater focus on power users. The changes the company is introducing aren’t anything we haven’t seen before, but they are notable upgrades that improve usability. While pricing is still unknown, we do know when the new business models are expected to launch.
On September 26, the tech giant will launch a new version of the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Pro 11th Edition capable of running on T-Mobile’s 5G network, so you won’t have to worry about not having a connection or not being able to show your coworkers the projects you’re working on outside the office. 5G support allowing users to enjoy high-speed internet wherever they are. Of course, all the features that made these devices great are returning.

Surface Pro 10 will still be equipped with Intel Ultra Core processors, ensuring “flexibility” [and] “Fast performance.” The glass is still coated with an anti-reflective coating for better outdoor visibility, and the device is rated for 14 hours of battery life.
Surface Pro 11 is part of the Copilot+ seriespretty much the same as the consumer model. That means it runs on Qualcomm hardware, including your choice of Snapdragon X Elite or X Plus chipset. The hardware’s neural processing unit (or NPU for short) powers some of the AI features, like eliminating background noise during calls and improving video call clarity.
If you don’t plan on taking the Surface Pro on the road, Microsoft will also be selling the Wi-Fi-only version a little earlier on September 10.
Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 7 has a number of upgrades over its predecessor. Not only does it have the option to accommodate one of the Snapdragon X chipsets, but it also has some design and feature tweaks. It now supports Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, more ports, a brighter display “with ultra-thin bezels” around the glass, 22 hours of battery life, and an upgraded touchpad.

According to Microsoft, this improved trackpad “delivers realistic feedback when” touched. Plus, it comes with “intuitive touch gestures for easier navigation.” The improved laptop will launch on September 10. If it’s anything like consumer modelAs we expected, the Surface Laptop 7 is looking to be a promising device for business users.
Finally, the tech giant is updating its Surface Keyboard. It’s essentially the same, but the accessory now includes a Copilot key that allows “one-touch access” to AI features in Windows 11.
