These adoption papers can have a lot of red ink.
In an exclusive clip from the December 11 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Usman and his fiancée Kim are at a crossroads. Usman’s mother asked him to have a baby, but it was deemed too risky for 52-year-old Kim to conceive.
In response, Usman came up with the idea of marrying a second wife who could bear him children, but as he explains, that could affect his future in the United States.
“I don’t feel like I need another wife,” Usman, who hails from Nigeria, told his brother Mohammed during one sneak peek. “Because of taking two wives, I may not be able to move to America.”
Don’t worry, though, as the 33-year-old has another plan in his pocket, telling Mohammed, “I was thinking if you could let us Mahadi adopt him as our child.”
With Mahadi sitting on his lap and his partner at his side, the apparently dazed Mohammed could only reply, “Huh?”
