Probably the mistake I’ve made the longest is simply not using all the focal lengths available to me. Most landscape photographers choose wide-angle lenses simply because they allow you to capture most of the scene in the frame, but sometimes that’s not the only composition for you; in practice, it may not be optimal. One more left focal distance can simplify an overly busy frame and can also allow more pictures to be taken from the same scene. Check out the video above for the full Perea pattern.
