Until a week ago, when I was driving from New York City to Montréal for the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix, I hadn’t left the country for almost three years. However traveling Restrictions eased a few months ago, and for whatever reason, I continue to procrastinate, even as I feel like the last person on Earth — or at least my Instagram and TikTok feeds. I’m jet setting at the international level. This month, however, my years of experience came to an end, and I did not stop at Montréal. Instead, at the end of its 30-day span, not one but two stamps would be added to my almost forgotten passport. Next stop? Berlin.
