This desktop is a workstation configuration, intended for precise engineering applications such as CAD drawing and 3D modeling, but if you are a creative pro, it can also work for 3D animation and graphic design. Lenovo is holding an employee pricing event where you can pick up the ThinkStation P620 for about half its usual retail price. It’s built with an AMD Threadripper Pro 3945WX CPU and an Nvidia T400 4GB GDDR6 graphics card for all the power you need for intense rendering. There are a few limitations to this build, mainly it doesn’t include a WiFi card, so you’ll have to use a hard-wired Ethernet connection. It also doesn’t have any kind of Bluetooth connection, so you won’t be able to use any wireless peripherals. But depending on what you can use for animation, digital art, and engineering, it might not be a big deal.
