As someone who usually wears neutral uniforms, I’m surprised to admit that there’s something about spring dark color trends really make me go. Maybe it’s the inherent fun it encapsulates or maybe I’m just bored of black and tan (insert shrug emoji). Either way, I’m taking a color risk I’ve never had before, and let me tell you, the feeling good. Exhibition A: I recently attended a wedding in a tiered pink Pepto-Bismol dress. Am I nervous to wear it? OH that’s right. But I’ve never received more compliments on an item of clothing in my life.
This newly created color confidence leads me to try to incorporate lighter colors on a more regular basis. Am I attracted to the monochromatic tangerine look? Yes, yes, me.
