My Boston is allergic to poultry. Even byproducts. I see Blue Basics has a few bird-free versions. Also, I make some dishes with salmon, steak, ahi, apple and spinach. Puree, freeze in an ice tray and defrost several capsules a day for her. She is 14 years old, fat and happy.

I make food at home for our girl. I make a large portion in the slow cooker and then put it in each cake in the freezer, then I take out a portion the night before and put it in the ref. overnight to thaw. The dish I made this time with green beans, squash, chicken, brown rice, and pumpkin in a can is 100% pumpkin. I add the mixture to a small amount of kibble. After adding it all together, I added the salmon oil. She loves it. I also use fish when I buy fish, I get a small portion. I don’t use beef due to an allergy to it. There are so many options, you just have to find what your dog likes. It’s fun to add these fresh ingredients to the slow cooker and make healthy baby food that your baby will love.
