2025 Honda CR-V Sport hybrid price increases to $35,700

  • 2025 Honda CR-V Prices Increase $300-600 Over Last Year
  • The base Sport hybrid is now priced at $35,700.
  • With more features, the CR-V hybrid costs about $6,000 more than the Kia Sportage hybrid.

The Honda CR-V Sport, a hybrid version of the midsize SUV, starts at $35,700 for the 2025 model year.

Honda confirmed pricing for its popular crossover on Tuesday, without changing much about the vehicle itself. The CR-V remains the same for the new model, and Honda says the hybrid now accounts for more than half of all CR-V sales.

The CR-V Sport’s base price only increased by $300 for the new year, while the top Sport Touring model increased by $600, to $42,150. Compared to its competitors, and with the addition of all-wheel drive (an option on the Honda, standard on the Toyota), the CR-V Sport hybrid costs $4,000 more than the $33,075 Toyota RAV4 2024 Hybrid with AWD. Nearly $6,000 more than front-wheel drive Kia Sportage Hybrid 2025.

Honda equips the CR-V Sport hybrid with a 204 horsepower 2.0-liter inline-4 and two electric motors for excellent fuel economy. EPA rated at 43/36/40 miles per gallonor 40/34/37 mpg with AWD. Standard equipment includes power features, a touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, black 18-inch wheels, black exterior trim, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Compared to a similar gas-only CR-V EX, the hybrid version costs $2,000 more.

The mid-range CR-V Sport-L hybrid costs $38,700 and comes with a power passenger seat, leather upholstery, a power tailgate, a wireless smartphone charger, and a 9.0-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity.

At its top, the CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid starts at $42,150 and comes with all-wheel drive, 19-inch wheels, a navigation system, a wifi hotspot, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.

Other non-hybrid models saw similar price increases compared to Honda CR-V 2024. They are powered by a 190-horsepower 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with CVT and front-wheel drive. Base models start at $31,450 and get up to 30 mpg combined. Top trims start at $36,350.

Honda also offers CR-V e:FCEV fuel cell for rent in California, with great deals including great fuel allowance.
