Price information for 2022 Toyota Supra is out. Still offered with four or six cylinders, the coupe will enter the 2022 model year with several new features across the board, a new limited edition model called the A91-Carbon Fiber and a premium model cheaper price.
The big news for 2022 is the A91-Carbon Fiber (pictured), which is Released in June 2021. Limited to 600 pieces, it features carbon fiber tights includes a front splitter, rocker panels and a spoiler on the trunk lid. It also has 19-inch wheels painted in flat black and a variant-specific red and black interior with leather and Alcantara upholstery. It costs $64,305 including the mandatory $1,025 destination fee, a number that makes it the most expensive member of 2022 Supra lined up by a relatively large margin.
The rest of the range received some minor changes, which is not surprising considering 2021 brings a bunch of new features including a more powerful six-cylinder engine and a new level four. The base 3.0 is now standard with heated seats, while the 3.0 Premium can be configured with a red leather interior. Models equipped with a premium audio system are now compatible with full-screen Apple CarPlay. Finally, every year in 2022, the Supra gets an extra year of National Motor Sports Association membership, which includes a free Performance Driving Event where owners can learn how to handle the vehicle. Their vehicles are limited to professional guides.
The $44,315 spending plan includes a $1,025 destination fee for the four-cylinder Supra, offered in only one trim level. The base six-cylinder model costs $52,665, while the Premium version starts at $55,815. For context, the 2021 models are priced at $44,085, $52,085, and $55,585, respectively, including destination fees pegged at $995. It is interesting to note that the Premium version is actually cheaper in 2022 than it is in 2021; that’s extremely uncommon in an industry where annual increases, not decreases, are the norm.
The list of options includes the Safety & Technology Package, which comes with a 12-speaker JBL Audio audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay, adaptive cruise control, a navigation system and blind-spot monitoring system, plus other electronic driving aids. Also available as an option is the Driver Assistance Package, which adds adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitoring system, rear cross-traffic alert and parking sensors.
