Polaris Slingshot, the initiating, innovative tricycle brand, has added an all-new limited edition model to its 2022 lineup. The Slingshot Signature LE is said to deliver ultimate style, sound and comfort.
The Slingshot Signature LE is packed with premium features, including three-tone paint, new vented sports roof, black badging, top and bottom lights, interior XKGlow lights and bronze wheels exclusive 10-spoke matte. Additionally, Slingshot’s Stage 3 Rockford Fosgate sound system promises clarity at any speed, and Heated and Cooled Seats improve comfort in hot or cold weather.

The Slingshot Signature LE is powered by a Prostar 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that produces 178 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 120 lb-ft of torque at 5,500 rpm. Polaris claims a power-to-weight ratio of 8.1 lbs/hp and a 0-60 mph time of 4.9 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 125 mph. It is available with a manual or AutoDrive transmission, and final transmission is via carbon fiber reinforced belts.
The Slingshot Signature LE rides on three cast aluminum wheels (two 18 x 7.5 inch front and one 20 x 9 inch rear) shod with Kenda tyres. It provides 1.09 g of the latter’s grip. Each wheel has a 298mm vented cast iron brake rotor pressed by 1-piston brake calipers, and ABS brakes are standard. Weight restriction is 1,657 lbs, fuel capacity is 9.8 gallons, and overall dimensions are 149.6 inches long and 77.9 inches wide.

Tri-Tone limited edition graphics and paint
A first for any Slingshot model, the Signature LE features premium three-tone graphics and paintwork. Glossy and metallic black and red paintwork is complemented with limited edition matte bronze accents. Exclusive black accents and logos provide an extra layer of style, while limited edition wheels and front-lit full LED lighting complete its signature style.
Sports hood with vents
Introduced alongside the 2022 lineup, the new Vented Sport Hood adds aggressive, head-turning styling while improving aerodynamics and cabin airflow through the vented fenders and hood. The perforated sports hood is made of an all-new durable fiberglass composite material – providing a premium fit and finish.
XKGLOW light set
For a more upscale look, the Signature LE comes standard with XKGLOW’s interior lighting. LED luminaires are installed in the footrests, under the seats, left and right trunk, and along the center console – providing a full spectrum of red, green and blue. Color changes can be made using the Slingshot LED mobile app and can be synchronized with a music playlist.
Stage 3 Rockford Fosgate Audio
Rockford Fosgate’s premium sound system allows drivers to enjoy personalized playlists like tracks for the open road. The Hoop Stage 3 coil speakers complement the output from the Rockford Fosgate sound system, as the system delivers sound with great power and exceptional tonal clarity.
7-inch screen powered by Ride Command
At the heart of the Rockford Fosgate sound system’s controls is the Slingshot’s industry-leading 7-inch display powered by Ride Command. Offering touchscreen convenience, the infotainment system comes standard with Ride Command+, which includes Apple CarPlay, GPS navigation, as well as weather and traffic overlays.
Heated and cooled seats
While the new vented Sport Hood improves airflow in the cockpit, the Slingshot’s Heated and Cooled Seats offer customizable comfort via an interactive, easy-to-access, light-up switch blue when cool and red when heated. The chair uses advanced thermoelectric technology to warm or cool the seat and flexible Graphene material to disperse for full coverage.
Drivers looking to further personalize their ride can choose from a wide range of factory accessories, including the all-new Excursion Top, additional storage bags, color-matched rear fenders or even is a Stage 1 performance build for an extra 25 hp. Drivers operating an AutoDrive transmission can control their shifts using the Slingshot’s AutoDrive paddle shifter.
