2022 LIV Golf in Jeddah: Fixtures, player fields, bonuses, wallets, live stream, watch online
The first time it’s played in consecutive weeks, we’re wrapping up the regular LIV Golf season. With six events held, LIV Golf in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, serves as the final stop of the season after an exciting tournament in Bangkok, Thailand, last week.
While some of the regular season’s prizes have been scrapped, there’s still plenty to compete for as players and teams race for spot ahead of the Team Championships later this month in Miami. Dustin Johnson ended the individual scoring race as the two-time major winner excelled during his first stint with LIV Golf while raking in $18 million for his efforts.
Johnson won the LIV Golf Boston title impressively in playoffs against Anirban Lahiri and Joaquin Niemann, and also had four other top 10 finishes. His team, 4 Aces, remained at the top of the table but could be seen as vulnerable after being overtaken by the Fireballs at LIV Golf Bangkok and missing out on the podium entirely.
With the top three finishers from the regular season receiving additional monetary rewards at the end of LIV Golf Jeddah, Branden Grace and Patrick Reed will be looking to fend off potential pursuers. Grace was forced to withdraw from LIV Golf Bangkok due to a muscle strain, and it was not known if the winner of LIV Golf Portland would be ready to compete in time.
This opens the door for LIV Golf Chicago winner Cameron Smith, who currently occupies 4th place in the standings. Champion golfer of the year is 20 points behind second-placed Grace and with 40 points awarded to the winner, was able to catch up to his rival LIV Golf with a strong showing at Jeddah.
