2022 Jeep Compass follows the Grand Cherokee L into the dark

A few weeks later and at the other end of the Jeep lineup, the automaker released the Altitude Pack for 2022 Compasscreate compactness intersection its own dark flourish. Starting with the Latitude Lux Compass trim, the elevation pack includes a black roof; gloss black accents in places such as the grille rims, badges, headlight bezels and fog light surrounds; bright finish for the twin exhaust tips; a vinyl-wrapped instrument panel with light tungsten stitching; piano black decorative pieces; a black title; and 18-inch gloss black aluminum wheels. The seat is upholstered in fabric and vinyl with black stitching.
It also comes with safety features like Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring and Active Lane Management as standard. Since the Latitude Lux Compass only has four-wheel drive, the Altitude features Jeep’s Selec-Terrain traction management system with Auto, Snow, and Sand/Mud modes.
Compass Elevation is a more sensible counterpoint to Compass Elevation and is the second special edition along with the Compass (RED) style. Compass altitude is now available to order from authorized dealer, but it hasn’t appeared on Jeep configurations at the time of writing. It will add $1,645 to the price of the Compass, for a total of $34,435 after the $1,595 destination fee.
