In the action RPG gacha by developer miHoYo The Genshin effect, players can join each other’s adventures to solve challenges together by sharing UID codes. This works on all platforms the game supports, including Windows, PlayStation 4 and 5 as well as Android and iOS. The company also announced a Switch version but hasn’t announced a release window yet. When it comes out, it should also be cross-compatible with all other platforms.
The Genshin effectslightly unique, cross supportsave also. So if you decide to play on your phone for a short while, you can keep all your progress when you return to your console. It’s a great addition that makes this title one of those rare games where you can play anywhere with anyone and feel like you’re in the same game.
Rocket League (Free)

Psyonix’s Rocket League demonstrated that the concept “If football, but with cars?” is the long-term one. And using Epic’s Online Services platform, players on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch or PC can all play together. Interestingly, PC players who play the game through the Epic Game Store or Steam can get in on the cross-platform action, even though Steam is a rival game store to Epic. Who says we can’t all get along?

When Autumn boys arrived at the scene, it was overshadowed by Between us, but it still maintains a healthy player base. This game is a battle royale—Despite the cutest you’ll ever see — where 60 players compete in game show-style arenas and obstacles to be the last (yeah, jelly beans) standing. Best of all, it was recently free to play, so you don’t have to spend a dime to try it out.

If you enjoy the chaos of working in a professional kitchen… you’ve probably never done it in real life. Fortunately, Overdo! All you can eat a lot more interesting than a real job. This game requires players to cooperate to prepare, cook and serve food for customers in a fast-burning environment. This version added cross-play across multiple platforms, so you can recruit chefs from anywhere.
No Man’s Sky ($60)

For a game that begins life with an isolated astronaut exploring an incredibly vast and lonely universe, any sort of crossplay is already a significant change. . But because Hello Games has continued to repeat No Man’s Sky, it added online multiplayer features where you can meet other travelers. You can interact with players on Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 4 and 5. (It’s also coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022.) It’s not a huge amount of background compared to most of the other titles on this list, but given How unique is the development of this game?It’s a worthy addition.
