I have a lot to say about Uoma Beauty and its founders, Sharon Chuter. First of all, I like the brand’s high inclusivity and shade range for products like Say What!? The platform is very broad. That along with its gorgeous lip color are a few of my favorite pieces from the brand.
In addition, Chuter and Drag up to change restarted their amazing thing Make it black campaign in honor of Black History Month. This groundbreaking campaign saw beauty brands such as Elf Cosmetics, MAC, Mented, Morphe, Flower Beauty, Ulta, IPSY and BoxyCharm package their products in limited edition black packaging. These limited edition products will be available throughout February and will be sold on Ulta and through IPSY and BoxyCharm subscription boxes. The goal of this campaign is to change perceptions around what Black means, raise money for the Enduring Change Impact Fund, and provide capital to emerging Black entrepreneurs.
