#1 Recruit Travis Hunter, Texas A&M, Notre Dame Committed To Show Off Skills In The Polynesian Bowl

Texas A&M fans will get a chance to see some of the reasons why the Aggies earned the No. 1 recruit in the country Saturday as five of their pledges take part in the Polynesian Bowl in Hawaii. The final all-star game before National Signing Day on February 2 will air on CBS Sports Network at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The quarterback’s commitment to Tennessee, Miami, Michigan State and UCLA will also be on display. 1 player who shocked the college football world when he signed with Jackson State in December, will play in his second all-star game. He also played in the game Under Armor All-America on January 2. Notre Dame will have four future players in the game, as will USC.

Michigan, which is about to win the Big Ten championship and appear in the College Soccer Qualifiers, will have three players participating.

And while Texas A&M is expected to feature five future players from the Polynesian Bowl, five-star defender Harold Perkins seems to waver from the commitment he made at the All-American Under Armor Game. Perkins has yet to sign and he told Rivals.com this week that he will make the final announcement on Saturday in Honolulu. Since the UA game, Perkins has visited Florida and has also been recruited by Miami and LSU.

This is the fifth edition of the event, held in conjunction with Polynesian Football Honor Week. Past players include Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, Notre Dame defender Chris Tyree, Oregon lineback Justin Flowe and Alabama linebacker Henry To’oto’o.
